Recently, Beijing zero gravity Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "zero gravity laboratory"), a leading commercial aerospace enterprise, announced the completion of a round of financing of 100million yuan. This round of financing was jointly funded by CAITONG capital (Jinkai industry leading fund), Burkin capital, Guangfa Qianhe, delinghaqin and other institutions. It is reported that this round of financing is mainly used to improve the satellite pedigree of lingque constellation, promote the "satellite as a service" application system, and continue to carry out overseas business.


Founded in January, 2018, zero gravity laboratory is a high-tech, specialized and special new enterprise in China's commercial aerospace industry. It takes the independent research and development ability of satellites and the construction of lingque constellation as the core, builds a "one body, two wings" business model supported by the supply chain of commercial spacecraft and aerospace information services, and is committed to becoming an international first-class aerospace information service provider based on self-developed satellite technology.


Aim at the trend of real-time remote sensing and improve the satellite pedigree of lingque constellation



In recent years, the state has attached great importance to and vigorously promoted the transformation of aerospace from business to industry, and gradually liberalized and supported the commercial development of remote sensing industry from the policy level. With the rapid breakthrough of remote sensing satellite technology, the widespread use of Internet technology, and the continuous enrichment of business application fields, the traditional remote sensing satellite data processing methods are lagging behind. Under this background, it is urgent for China to build an autonomous and controllable real-time remote sensing constellation.


As early as at the first China Aerospace conference held on April 23rd, 2018, zero gravity laboratory released the lingque constellation plan, which benchmarked the dove constellation of the US planet labs, which is a domestic autonomous and controllable high-time resolution satellite constellation.


Lingque constellation plan is composed of lingque 1, lingque 2 and lingque 3. It is a hybrid networking constellation containing more than 160 satellites. After the deployment of the constellation, it will form a global high-time resolution earth observation capability, achieve 12 hours of global coverage, and realize a 30 minute revisit to key areas, reaching the international advanced level. At the same time, the constellation will realize multi-source data fusion relying on the high optical resolution lingque 2 and radar constellation lingque 3. After analysis and processing, the data products obtained by lingque constellation can be used in civil fields such as urban brain, agricultural monitoring, disaster prevention and mitigation, urban comprehensive management, watershed management and control, etc.


Subsequently, in terms of satellite development, the zero gravity laboratory will continue to improve the satellite pedigree of lingque constellation, build a satellite factory with modular, batch, flexible and intelligent production lines, realize the batch and standardized production of satellites, and promote the establishment of remote sensing satellite standards and the development of remote sensing data applications.
